AVVO guide published discussing Missouri’s expungement laws

Bryan Scheiderer, an attorney practicing in Moberly, Randolph County, Missouri, published a guide on Avvo.com, discussing recent changes in Missouri law related to expungement of false arrest records and older criminal convictions.

The guide can be found at this link.

Missouri law provides a way for a victim of identity theft or someone arrested based on false information to have those records corrected or even destroyed. Also, certain older felony and misdemeanor convictions can be expunged, including a first time driving while intoxicated (DWI) or minor in possession (MIP) charge.
